Taylor Swift, BTS & Lizzo The trio are among the top performers in 2022 People’s Choice Awards

BTS was awarded two awards: their group in 2022 as well as the 2022 concert tour. Additionally, BTS’ Jung Kook was awarded the song collaboration of 2022 due to his role in the album by Charlie Puth titled “Left and Right.” The sultry collaboration was released and peaked at the No. 22 in the Billboard Hot 100 in July.

Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Selena Gomez and Adam Sandler won the top prize on Tuesday night during the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. The awards ceremony, which is voted by the public, covers more than 40 categories and honors actors from television, films music, pop culture.

The ceremony took place at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica California and featured Kenan Thompson hosting the event for the second time in succession.

Marvel’s ‘Dr. Strange from The Multiverse of Madness’ won The Movie of 2022 and its main character Elizabeth Olsen taking home the award in the categories of Female Movie Star and Action Movie Star. Adam Sandler was named ‘Comedy Movie Star’ and Styles’ Male Artist of 2022′.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez also received prizes on Tuesday evening. Gomez was awarded the Comedy TV Star award for her performance in ‘Only Murders In the Building’ in addition to an award to be named Social Celebrity of the year. Her co-star, Swift won Female Artistas well as the album 2022 award for Midnights and The Music Video of the year for her song ‘Anti-Hero..’

It’s the biggest night for Hollywood. stars will shine brightly in the 2022 People’s Choice Awards on Tuesday the 6th of December. The renowned awards show that is voted by fans was held in the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, and honoured nominees across 40 categories. Kenan Thompson who was also serving as host of the 2021 PCAs and Emmys became host for this year.

One of the biggest winners at the event that already had been announced was, Lizzo who was confirmed as the winner of the People’s Champion Award. Additionally, Ryan Reynolds was given the Icon Award whereas Shania Twain was awarded the Music Icon Award. Other major categories, like Best Movie of 2022, films like Bullet Train, Top Gun: Maverick and more were in competition. In addition, shows like House of the Dragon, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and many more were nominated.
