River City Girls 2 Worldwide Release Date Set for December

WayForward has announced River City Girls 2 launches on December 15th to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam.

River City Girls 2 is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation 5 in Japan and Asia. In addition, the game is physically available in these regions as well as at Playasia.

River City Girls 2 brings back the thrilling classic beat-em-up gameplay of River City Girls and the original series!

Throw, kick, punch and mix as you move throughout the town, accomplishing various side missions, acquiring upgrades, cash and new techniques! Join forces with a friend or three players to take on your opponents as each character has an array of moves and a an array of unlockables! This should be a pleasant delight to all those who’ve been waiting for River City Girls 2. It was just the last few days that we were informed that, while the game was set to launch within Japan (published in Japan by Arc System Works there) but it was delay for North American and European markets in order to polish it up. However, the game was expected to launch to be released in 2022. This leaves only a few days to figure out what time it would be. Although it wouldn’t be a surprise that the game would slide into a release date of 2023 due to the delay, it seems like WayForward will stick to their word and will get River City Girls 2 out on the market before the end of the year.
