More Features and Improvements

Leaked MIUI 14 Changelog Appears
Recent tweets by Kacper Skrzypek, a leakster, hint at fewer system apps. This is confirmed by Xiaomi. According to the leaked changelog, MIUI 14 will provide better performance for third-party and pre-installed apps. MIUI 14 will use less space, allowing for smoother and faster performance. The teaser video by Xiaomi suggests that MIUI 14 will have a firmware file size of 23%.
MIUI 14 will also introduce new widget formats to allow for greater customization and Super Icons will be available for a fresh home screen design. New folders will be added to the home screen to highlight the apps that users are most likely to use. It will also stabilize framing to improve gaming.
New privacy and security features will be available, including no data storage on cloud. Users will also be able hold text on images to identify it. This function is expected to support 8 languages.
The Mi Smart Hub will undergo a major overhaul and will allow you to pair your earphones with smartphones, tablets and TV. Family Services will allow for up to 8 members and include health sharing with the family (much as iOS 16’s data sharing of health).
Other than following commands, the voice assistant for Mi AI will be able scan and translate documents. The search function in Settings will be enhanced and you can choose to increase connection speed when Wi Fi becomes unstable.
MIUI 14 will be available for the Xiaomi 13 series and the Xiaomi 12 series as well as other devices. It is expected that eligible devices will be available by 2023. MIUI 14 Features Leaked
MIUI 14 will see major design changes. According to reports, the new MIUI update may be released on August 16. XiaomiUI managed to capture screenshots of some new features in the MIUI update.
According to the report, App Vault’s user interface and design have been improved. Xiaomi also offers the option to permanently disable notifications directly from the Notification shade.
The new MIUI update will recognize text in images within Gallery. This feature, which is already in iOS 15, is part of OneUI 5.0. MIUI will get a new Memories feature in the Gallery app. This will allow the “On this Day” feature. Users will also be able uninstall the Clock App. It also indicates that the MIUI code will soon support Qualcomm LE Audio.
